How we create your Jordan tour?
Ever wonder how to create a tour itinerary? For tour operator (travel agent) it is important to meet the customer needs and wants together when planning a trip. Here’s some of information needed during the planning stage:
Date of Travel,
Hotel Preferences – 3*, 4*, 5* hotels & room options,
Customer places of interest,
Date of Travel – in Tourism Industry, your operator/agent needs to know when the date of travel takes place due to difference in prices based on seasonality (low, high, and peak seasons). The travel date is the basis of your agent in calculating the cost. Your agent can also advise the best time to travel and offer better suggestion to suit the itinerary.
Nationality – in country like Jordan, there are some restricted nationalities that require to get the entry visa in advance but most of the nationalities can obtain the Jordanian visa on arrival at the airport or land borders, except the Allenby Bridge/King Hussein Bridge & Wadi Arava Border.
Flight Information – if available, this info is helpful when planning an itinerary (especially for short-term tours). It helps the operator to come up with suitable itinerary to maximize the visit & for the traveler to make the most out of the trip and visit the highlights of the country.
Hotel Preferences – if in case client wanted to include accommodation in the package, this info tells where the customer like to stay (3*, 4*, 5* or 5* deluxe), room requirement (king-sized bed, twin bed, extra bed for child or baby cot).
Places of interest – same to hotel preferences, not all travelers wanted to see the same place or take the tour, some enjoys leisure time, some needs relaxation, and some wants adventure travel and the like.
Budget – not all customers are open to provide their budget but there are times this info needs to be known. Knowing the budget is helpful to the operator when planning the trip to consider how much money the customer wants to spend.
